Area Sales Manager

Glosrose have a vacancy for an Area Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced area sales manager to join our Hollingbourne based team on a full-time basis.

The job is office based and will involve running a team of service engineers.

Main duties will include:

• Identify and promote all business opportunities, including trucks sales, short term rental, maintenance contracts and operator training within a specified territory.
• Sell the complete range of new and used Mechanical Handling equipment; Forklifts, telehandlers, Warehouse equipment and access equipment.
• Maintain relationships and further develop business opportunities with existing customers.
• Proactively generate sales leads from site visits.

The Candidate:

• Direct sales experience, preferably within a mechanical handing environment.
• Product, sector or industry knowledge.
• Operate to high standards in record keeping and administration for all aspects of selling, order processing, customer information management and reporting.
• Strong presentation skills.
